Jess B Parker is a Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nations and Irish Canadian actress, writer, singer/songwriter and multidisciplinary artist. Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, she has been writing songs and performing from a young age as a singer/songwriter as well as working in musical theatre. She obtained her diploma for Acting for Film, Television, and Voice Over from Vancouver Acting School in 2016, and has worked both in front of and behind the camera as well as on stages across British Columbia and Alberta.

In addition to writing and performing, Jess has worked as a producer, stage manager, crew member in various capacities, and worked in multiple theatre and film offices throughout Western Canada. She is always looking to broaden her skillset and find ways to be a part of the magic of storytelling.

When she’s not working in the arts, Jess loves searching out adventure. She is a world traveler, having been to four continents, a dozen countries, and countless cities across the globe. She is also an avid reader, history enthusiast, and all around nerd. Band geek, theatre geek, film nerd, she usually has her nose in a book and her head in the clouds, dreaming about her next artistic pursuit or adventure.
